Josef Oliver

Josef clerked for Busby Negin for two years during law school, building the litigation skills and collaborative relationships that laid the foundation for his current role with this team. Josef worked at immigration law firms for nearly eight years prior to attending law school, beginning at a high-volume boutique firm where he prepared both family and employment-based petitions. He later joined the immigration practice group at Seyfarth Shaw LLP, where he oversaw complex large-scale immigrant and nonimmigrant petition filing projects on behalf of global corporate clients. Josef’s diverse experience has informed his comprehensive approach to the law and equipped him to serve clients with both precision and perspective.
Josef earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Emory University in 2015, where he was a member of the lacrosse team. Outside of his work, he is a music fanatic who enjoys playing guitar and attending live concerts of all genres. He is an avid New York sports fan, supporting the Knicks, Rangers, Mets, and Giants. He also enjoys golf, running, and pickleball as ways to stay active and competitive.
